Time seems to slow late at night, at least here it does. The quietness is conducive to a state somewhat resembling delirium. It is difficult to find peace when you feel confined and alone, because you are physically alone and stuck in a routine. That is, a routine which you feel is getting you nowhere but the single step forward that is required to get you to the next day.

I have been neglecting my writing. I have fallen out of it due to the fact that I now live on my own (in my own apartment) miles away from where I grew up. I work mostly full-time at a job that I feel is the wrong direction for my life. It is only for necessity. I need something to change.
